By using the very best materials, from Horween leather and Vibram soles, to offering one free resole with each and every pair of our footwear during its life.
About Janji
Janji is the running brand that gives back. Runners race for a cause, but historically there hasn’t been a running brand that lets runners give back outside of a race. Janji changes that by enabling runners to give back each run. Every piece of Janji apparel has a design inspired by a country and, when a runner buys it, he or she gives one year of clean water to that country. When a runner buys Janji’s Kenyan shorts, he or she gives one year of clean water to Kenya; when a runner buys Janji’s Ethiopia shirt, he or she gives one year of clean water to Ethiopia. Now sold in over 150 running stores around the country and nearly doubling in growth every year, this holiday season is Janji’s opportunity to further its mission by helping runners and athletes across Boston give back.
About Island Creek Oysters
Skip Bennett, owner and founder of Island Creek Oysters, planted his first oysters in 1992 after three years growing quahogs in Duxbury Bay. After much trial and error, and some undeniably delicious oysters, Island Creek Oysters has grown into one of the largest and most reputable aquaculture businesses in the US, selling nearly five million oysters a year around the world. Intense care is given to every step of the farming process, from hatchery to harvesting. Today, diners can find Island Creek Oysters on the menu at restaurants across the country including Per Se, The French Laundry, and at our own Island Creek Oyster Bar, and Row 34 in Boston and Portsmouth, NH. Diners can also order oysters for home delivery through our web store (shop.islandcreekoysters.com) Through your support, our family has grown. However, our mission stays the same. Grow. Give. Enjoy. That’s the Island Creek way. W e hope you love eating our oysters as much as we love growing them.
About Parlor
Parlor is New England’s custom ski builder. Located in East Boston and founded by three Williams College graduates and former alpine ski team members, Parlor offers a level of customer service and customization that separates them from the traditional ski manufacturing companies. Parlor Skis is founded on the idea that every skier should have access to a pair of skis that are custom fit and built to order. We combine different ski materials, shapes, camber profile, flex, and graphics to create a ski that is totally unique and provides the best performance possible. Parlor prioritizes customer service and aims to provide a unique skibuying and riding experience. Cofounders Mark Wallace, Jason Epstein, and Pete Endres use a lifetime of skiing to inspire their designs. They combine contemporary trends in ski design with classic lines and a minimalist approach. Each of the skis is built to perform in specific conditions while maintaining adaptability across a broader spectrum. Our custom ski core options and manufacturing process means each ski is made specifically for the skier.
